Neighborhood Development

Buchenweg 52 & Erlenweg

At Erlenweg and Buchenweg, modern neighborhood development demonstrates how security and quality of living can be combined.
The centerpiece is the new building Erlenweg 3, which was completed in 2021
and has been awarded the “Safe Living in Hesse” quality seal. Burglary-resistant components, clear lighting, secure access points, and
an open neighborhood design ensure a comprehensively protected living environment. In this neighborhood, not only new apartments were created, but existing ones were also modernized. The
area is complemented by a facility for assisted living provided by the Behinderten-Werk Main Kinzig.

Teichweg & Ameliastraße

Ten multi-family houses from 1964 in the Teichweg area and on Ameliastraße have undergone extensive energy modernization since 2019: insulated facades and basement ceilings, new windows, elevator systems, building entrances, house and apartment doors, mailbox systems, renovated balconies, and a modern, environmentally friendly heating concept. The visual highlight of the modernization: the Rapunzel Tower at Ameliastraße 5, created by a facade artist. In addition, 23 new apartments have been created: 13 through a roof extension on Ameliastraße, and 10 barrier-free apartments in the new building Ameliastraße 11a. Some new parking spaces have also been made available.

Philipp-Reis-Straße 1+3

The buildings at Philipp-Reis-Straße 1 and 3 were constructed in 1975 and extensively modernized in 2021. As part of the modernization, the publicly subsidized apartments were adapted to current living and equipment standards, now offering contemporary comfort. Some of the apartments also boast a beautiful view towards the Frankfurt skyline. With a total of 79 apartments ranging from two to five rooms, the residential complex offers various apartment sizes and layouts, ensuring a suitable home for singles, couples, and families.

Otto-Wels-Straße 17 – 21a

In 2018, we launched our construction and modernization project in
Otto-Wels-Straße. By adding additional floors and constructing a new building using a timber-hybrid method, an additional 36 apartments were created. The extensive modernization work included the installation of new windows, as well as the renovation of balconies, building entrances, stairwells, bathrooms, and utility lines. Today, tenants benefit from 60 modern apartments with elevators and 73 parking spaces. A total of approximately eight million euros was invested in enhancing living quality and security – recognized with the “Safe Living in Hesse” seal.

Französische Allee

Living in the heart of Hanau, with a view of the Walloon-Dutch Church: With an investment of approximately 9 million euros, a modern home in a central downtown location was created at Französische Allee 2–6 in 2016. The building comprises a total of 57 apartments with two to four rooms, each with a loggia or balcony, some complemented by a rooftop terrace. The former post-war building gave way to contemporary living comfort with daylight bathrooms, comprehensive underfloor heating, and high energy efficiency. The supply to the residential complex is permanently secured by a combined heat and power plant in conjunction with district heating.

Lenbachstraße

At Lenbachstraße 1–3 in the Lamboy district, we have realized a barrier-free residential complex with a total of 24 modern and contemporarily equipped apartments. Eight one-bedroom and 16 two-bedroom apartments, completed in 2017, offer a secure home particularly for seniors and people with disabilities. All apartments feature a balcony or terrace, controlled ventilation, and an emergency call system for added security. In cooperation with the Johanniter and the Behinderten-Werk Main-Kinzig, a future-oriented housing offer with a high quality of life was thus created.
