Preservation of Historical Monuments
Hanau preserves its architectural heritage while simultaneously creating contemporary living spaces. In various districts, we maintain historical buildings and combine their special character with modern use. All renovations are carried out in close coordination with the monument protection authorities. This results in apartments that respect history and simultaneously meet today’s living standards. For our tenants, this means vibrant living quality in homes with a past and a future.
Old Town
The Old Town is a special district with a historically evolved structure. Small-scale development and individual houses characterize its appearance. Our goal is to preserve this character, carefully modernize it, and sensibly increase density – without altering the cityscape. The respectful treatment of the existing buildings is central to our planning. Its central location near the market square and city center makes the district highly sought after.
